Meet Our Crew
Otto Remodeling has been in business since 2002. It began with decks and bathrooms, but would soon launch us into another scale of projects. In 2017, Paul Otto, Owner, retired from Olathe Fire Department, and took the business on full-time. We grew into basement finished and master suite build outs. That began to change as word started to spread about our services and quality. We soon started our journey into full-home, multi-family and commercial projects. We have rapidly grown over the years, with no intention of slowing down and wouldn’t have the success without our incredible clients.
After retiring in 2017 from the Olathe Fire Dept. as a Captain, Paramedic, Fire Investigator and Bomb Technician, Paul decided to take the company on full time. He created Otto Remodeling in 2002 doing small jobs to feed another passion of his, being a tradesman. He has over 30 years of experience in various skilled trades and holds a Class-A contractor’s license. Paul is passionate about a lot of things but the greatest joy is his daughter, Morgen. He values family time over everything which is why their time spent together includes fishing, swimming and Jeep rides.
When he’s not playing competitive disc golf and intramural softball, Brad is on site working his magic! He’s been with Otto Remodeling since 2017 and never ceases to amaze us. With his vast years and skills in framing, tiling, electric, plumbing and HVAC, he grew quickly into a management position. Brad is a burst of positive energy and always up for the task on hand. Clients love him and we couldn’t agree more! He enjoys spending time with his wife, Sherie and is always working on new projects in his shop.
The small details are important in our world which is why Rohn earned his position with us. He’s been in the construction industry since 2004 with experience in commercial, residential new construction and home remodeling. We are lucky he made the jump from commercial projects to Otto Remodeling. When Rohn isn’t looking over plans or finalizing schedules, he is doing what he loves the most, being a Dad to his daughter Maddie. Be on the look at a Royals or Chiefs game because it wouldn’t be surprising if you saw him there!
